Good Evening Tiger Families! This is Principal Chase Arrington at Western Guilford Middle School bringing you announcements for the week of Monday, February 24th – Friday, February 28th.
SCHOOL LEADERSHIP TEAM MEETING:
Tuesday, February 25th, the School Leadership Team will meet in the media center for our monthly meeting at 3:50pm. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact your grade level’s parent representative.
QUARTER 3 INTERIM REPORTS:
Students will receive Quarter 3 interim reports Wednesday, February 26th. Please sign and have your child return their interim report to their teachers.
QUARTER 2 AWARDS PROGRAM:
We will have our Quarter 2 Awards Program Friday, February 28th, 2025, at the following times:
- 6th Grade: 8:30am – 9am
- 7th Grade: 9:30am – 10am
- 8th Grade: 10:15am – 10:45am
ATTRACTION BOOKS FUNDRAISER (BETA CLUB):
This year, the WGMS Beta Club has chosen to offer our supporters the Attractions®
Dining and Value Guide.
The Attractions Dining and Value Guide is a money-saving coupon book with thousands of dollars in BUY ONE GET ONE FREE and discount coupons from the area's best restaurants and retailers! Valid NOW through December 31, 2025!
Just using 2 or 3 coupons at your favorite restaurants and stores will easily pay for the book and save you hundreds of dollars or more! Each book includes more than $7800 worth of local savings AND access to free mobile coupons that can be used in NC, SC, and VA!
Our goal is to raise funds for future Beta Club conventions, college tours, academic competitions, and service-learning projects. All the money raised will directly benefit the students in our club.
Our fundraiser is simple:
- The cost of each book is $30.00.
- Books can be bought from a WGMS Beta Club Member or sponsor via cash or EZ Pay(Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express).
- We will be accepting orders from February 10th-March 7th.
- Attached is a flyer for your convenience.

REUNIÓN DEL EQUIPO DE LIDERAZGO ESCOLAR:
El Martes 25 de Febrero, el Equipo de Liderazgo Escolar se reunirá en el centro de medios para nuestra reunión mensual a las 3:50 pm. Si tiene alguna pregunta o inquietud, comuníquese con el representante de padres de su nivel de grado.
INFORMES INTERMEDIOS DEL TERCER TRIMESTRE:
Los estudiantes recibirán los informes provisionales del Tercer Trimestre el Miércoles 26 de Febrero. Por favor, firme y haga que su hijo devuelva su informe provisional a sus maestros.
PROGRAMA DE PREMIOS DEL SEGUNDO TRIMESTRE :
Tendremos nuestro Programa de Premios del Segundo Trimestre, el Viernes 28 de Febrero de 2025, en los siguientes horarios:
· 6º grado: 8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.
· 7º Grado: 9:30am – 10am
· 8º grado: 10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
