Dear 6th Grade Tiger Families,
We are excited to welcome you to Western Guilford Middle School's 6th Grade Start-Up on Thursday, August 13, 2026!
To provide flexibility for families, we will offer two identical sessions:

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
-
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
You only need to attend one session, and we ask that you plan to stay for the full two hours to make the most of the experience.
During your visit, you and your student will have the opportunity to:

Tour the school

Meet teachers and staff

Learn about middle school expectations and procedures

Ask questions and become familiar with life at Western Guilford Middle School
Starting middle school is an exciting milestone, and we look forward to partnering with your family as we welcome our newest Tigers. This event is designed to help your student begin the school year feeling confident, connected, and ready for success.
