Discover Western Middle

A welcoming community where students are challenged academically, supported socially and emotionally, and empowered to discover their strengths as learners and leaders. As a Leader in Me school, we intentionally develop leadership, responsibility, confidence, and strong relationships while preparing every Tiger for success in high school and beyond.

Experience Why Families Choose Us

At Western, we believe every student has strengths, a voice, and the capacity to lead. Our Leader in Me culture uses the 7 Habits to build relationships, responsibility, belonging, and student agency so Tigers are known, supported, challenged, and celebrated as they grow.

Student Supports

Western provides a comprehensive system of support that includes grade-level school counselors, a school social worker, school psychologist, nurse, Exceptional Children services, English Learner services, speech-language services, academic intervention, Multi-Classroom Coaches, and MTSS supports. Students also have access to individual and small-group counseling, restorative practices, academic and career guidance, behavioral supports, and partnerships with families and community resources.
